Civil Litigation
We represent our clients in state and federal court as well as through mediation, arbitration, and advocacy before local government bodies. Our practice focuses primarily on disputes involving real estate, zoning, employment issues, business matters, and consumer protection. Specifically, this includes cases involving breach of contract, boundary disputes, defamation, residential construction, business torts, workplace disputes and discrimination, landlord-tenant, stormwater, negligence, nuisance, and other practice areas.

Business Law
We guide our clients in starting and operating their businesses. This includes business planning, formation, and governance; employment and customer contract review; commercial leases; business transactions; landlord-tenant issues; and business conflict resolution.

Land Use and Zoning
We provide comprehensive land use and zoning representation. These services include securing land use approvals, such as special exceptions, re-zonings, and variances; zoning compliance, enforcement, and appeals; vested rights determinations; eminent domain and regularly takings representation; and other advocacy before local government bodies.

Renewable Energy
We are one of the few firms in Loudoun County with expertise in battery energy storage and renewable energy. Our principal has represented, legally and as a federal consultant, some of the nation’s largest battery manufacturers, energy storage developers, and entities with renewable energy interests for more than 20 years.
“When I have a particular case in hand, I have that motive and feel an interest in the case, feel an interest in ferreting out the questions to the bottom, love to dig up the question by the roots and hold it up and dry it before the fires of the mind.”
– Abraham Lincoln
